Als Leiterin der Stabsstelle Digitale Bildung im Amt für Schule und Weiterbildung gestalte ich mit 10 Mitarbeitenden den digitalen Wandel der städtischen Schullandschaft & erfülle die Schulträgeraufgaben. Mit dem Förderprogramm DigitalPakt Schule statten wir die Schulen zeitgemäß mit digitaler Präsentationstechnik und mobilen Endgeräten aus, die den pädagogischen Konzepten der Schulen gerecht werden. Im Digitallabor stärken wir digitale Kompetenzen der Lehrkräfte & reduzieren digitale Barrieren.
As Head of the Digital Education Staff Unit in the Office for Schools and Continuing Education, I shape the digital transformation of the municipal school landscape together with a team of 10 staff members and fulfill the responsibilities of the school authority. Through the DigitalPakt Schule funding program, we equip schools with modern digital presentation technology and mobile devices that align with their pedagogical concepts. In the Digital Lab, we strengthen teachers’ digital competencies and reduce digital barriers.

Die Rolle von Schulträgern für die digitale Souveränität von Schulen im föderalen Bildungssystem wird in Wissenschaft nach wie vor unterschätzt. Schulträger – so die ersten Ergebnisse aus dem Forschungsprojekt „Offene Digitale Infrastrukturen kommunaler Schulträger“ – wünschen sich eine stärkere Wahrnehmung im öffentlichen Diskurs, unter anderem bei der (Weiter-)Entwicklung offener lernförderlicher digitaler Infrastrukturen von Schulen. Im Forschungsgespräch soll somit die Rolle von Schulträgern im Bildungssystem gesprochen und der mögliche Weg zu „Communities of Practice“ skizziert werden.
The role of school maintaing bodies (smb) in ensuring the digital sovereignty of schools in the federal education system continues to be underestimated in academia. According to the initial findings of the research project “Open Digital Infrastructures of Municipal SMB,” smb would like to see greater recognition in public discourse, including in the (further) development of open, learning-friendly digital infrastructures in schools. The research discussion will therefore address the role of smb in the education system and outline the possible path to “communities of practice.”
