Thorsten wurde nach der Fusion der allotropia software GmbH im Mai 2025 Managing Director von Collabora Productivity Germany. Er ist Anwendungsentwickler in C, C++, Python und Java, Informatiker und bekennender „Standards-Wonk“ mit über 20 Jahren Erfahrung im Code von LibreOffice und OpenOffice.org. Er war einer der Gründer der The Document Foundation, des LibreOffice-Projekts und ehemaliges Mitglied des technischen Komitees des OASIS Open Document Format (ODF).
Thorsten became the Managing Director of Collabora Productivity Germany after the merger of allotropia software GmbH in May 2025. He is an application developer in C, C++, Python and Java, a computer scientist and self-confessed “standards wonk” with over 20 years of experience in the LibreOffice and OpenOffice.org code base. He was one of the founders of The Document Foundation, the LibreOffice project and former member of the OASIS Open Document Format (ODF) technical committee.
