Digital sovereignty means freedom of choice when it comes to tools, applications, and technologies. Not everything can be implemented better with open source, but focusing on independence opens up a wider range of possibilities. This presentation will briefly explore how we utilize this in Jena.
Sebastian Gille arbeitet im MedienZentrum der Stadt und betreut hier die gesamte Infrastruktur mit allen aktiven Komponenten für die Schullandschaft Jenas. Ein besonderes Augenmerk liegt hierbei auf Sicherheit und Effizienz. Wie dies im Univention-System abbildbar ist, präsentiert er im Vortrag.
Sebastian Gille works at the Media Center of the City, where he manages the entire infrastructure with all active components for Jena's school landscape. A particular focus lies on security and efficiency. In his presentation, he will demonstrate how this can be implemented within the Univention system.
Peter Jerie leitet das Medienzentrum, dessen Aufgabe die Ausstattung Jenaer Schulen mit einer zeitgemäßen und beherrschbaren IT-Landschaft ist. Dies gelingt mit einem guten Team, einer Strategie und einem System, das entsprechende Umsetzungs- und Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten bietet.
