Bernd Lehmann ist Dezernent der Kreisstadt Siegburg und verantwortet zentrale Aufgabenbereiche innerhalb der Verwaltung. Bernd Lehmann is Head of Department of the City of Siegburg and is responsible for key administrative functions within the municipal administration. His core areas of responsibility include organization, digitalization, and IT. In addition, he is largely responsible for the central coordination as well as the strategic and operational development of school IT in Siegburg. This includes both the technical infrastructure of schools and the further development of digital education services.

Digital transformation is not only changing technical infrastructure, but above all teaching, learning, and school culture. While some schools are already working with innovative concepts, others still lack adequate infrastructure and support. What matters is how digital media are meaningfully integrated into teaching, how teachers are supported in their professional development, and how new learning opportunities are created for students. To make this a success, schools, school authorities, and policymakers must work together to establish sustainable frameworks and ensure equal opportunities.
